Hardhats for Parolees

Turning a Page, Building the Future
Our mission is to equip inmates with construction skills, providing them with the tools for a successful reintegration into society after release.
About Our Cause
Hardhats for Parolees was founded on the belief that everyone deserves a second chance and sometimes, all it takes is someone willing to believe in you. Our mission is to reduce recidivism by helping incarcerated individuals and parolees break free from the cycle of incarceration and build a new life through meaningful work in the construction industry. We provide foundational training in safety and general construction, with certifications that count toward union apprenticeship hours, paving the way toward secure, high-paying union careers.
We work closely with each individual to prepare them for success, offering job placement support, assistance with obtaining essential work gear like boots and tools, and connecting them to felon-friendly landlords and sober housing resources. Our approach is rooted in compassion, dignity, and the understanding that with the right support, people can transform their lives and uplift their communities.
At Hardhats for Parolees, we’re not just filling a workforce gap we’re restoring hope, creating opportunity, and strengthening communities from the inside out. We believe in building bridges, not walls—and in doing so, we’re helping people reclaim their futures, one job site at a time

Why Donate?
Your donation to Hardhats for Parolees is more than a gift it’s an investment in real change. Every dollar you give helps us provide life-changing opportunities to individuals who are ready to rebuild their lives and contribute to their communities. Your support allows us to offer essential construction training, safety certifications, job placement assistance, work boots, tools, and access to stable housing critical resources that many parolees can’t afford on their own.
By donating, you’re helping to reduce recidivism, strengthen families, and fill a growing shortage in the skilled trades. You’re giving someone a second chance, not just at employment, but at dignity, purpose, and self-worth. You’re supporting a movement that believes in building bridges not walls and creating a path forward for those who are often overlooked.
Together, we can break the cycle of incarceration, restore hope, and build stronger communities one person, one job, and one future at a time.
